About Us

WVCA was established in 1924 as Wyoming Valley Crippled Children’s Association. In 1985, the name was changed to Wyoming Valley Children’s Association.

Today, WVCA provides the following services to local children and families:

• Preschool Education (early childhood education)
• Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (birth through 12 years)
• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Speech Therapy
• Home-Based Education Instruction (birth through 2 years)
• Home-Based Therapy (birth through 2 years)
• Service Coordination (early intervention based)
• Early Identification Medical Clinic

WVCA is governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors which meets monthly.
