June 9,2010 (From Times Leader) / WILKES-BARRE – In its commitment to help improve the welfare of women and children in our community, the Junior League of Wilkes-Barre presented checks totaling $15,450 to three area nonprofit organizations at the Westmoreland Club.

Wilkes University Nursing Donates to WVCA’s New Playground
April 29, 2010 / Wilkes University’s Nursing Honor Society (Zeta Psi), Nursing Student Organization, and Graduate Nursing Student Organization recently presented WVCA with a $600 gift to support the construction of the agency’s new outdoor handicapped accessible playground.
