General Endowment

A sustained enhancement of financial resources is crucial for WVCA to remain a leader in providing early intervention services and preschool education to our children.  Our endowment will support the services to our children, promote ongoing staff development and training, and maintain the operation of our new facility.

Increasing financial resources will keep WVCA viable and help us keep pace with the latest advances in therapy and education.

Scholarships

Why Endow a Scholarship at WVCA?

When you endow a scholarship, the impact of your gift will pass directly to our students, most of whom would not receive a quality early childhood education without financial help. Approximately 60% of our students are residing in low-to-moderate income families.  Your help will make an enormous difference in the lives of these young children as they prepare for a bright future. An endowed scholarship is a permanent tribute.

Can a Deferred Gift Be Used?

Yes, any of the gifts mentioned in WVCA’s Planned Giving Brochure can be used.  In this case, the minimum gift is $20,000.

The Benefits of Giving

The benefits of establishing a scholarship are many. Here are just a few:

  • The joy of knowing that you have provided financial help for generations of WVCA young students.
  • Creation of a lasting memorial to loved ones or to yourself.
  • Combining your assets with those of WVCA enabling the endowment to grow and WVCA’s important mission to continue.

How Do I Begin?

Once you decide that you want to help WVCA’s students, the rest is easy. The options for planning and funding a scholarship are many. Chances are that establishing a scholarship is more affordable and less complicated than you think… and more important than you can imagine.
